Resource Overview

Chefs Resources is the Professional Chef's culinary informational tool for kitchen management, culinary tool reviews, food costing, kitchen management spreadsheets, fresh fish & oyster culinary guides, and more. They endeavor to be a collaborative site for Chefs to add their questions & professional expertise to. Their purpose is to provide culinary resources for chefs, foodies, and culinarians to access for all their informational needs regarding culinary, kitchen, and restaurant issues.

Chef's Resources offer both free and subscription paid resources and is an external resource outside of IVET Academy.  All content is offered through Chef's Resources and teachers should make their own informed decision about whether the free and subscription based resources on offer are suitable to their professional development needs.

IVET Trainers who engage in the resources on offer will have them recognised as part of their Industry Professional Development requirements by uploading a certificate of completion or evidence of completion (ie: reflection notes).  Each course is worth 5 PD points and must be relevant to the units of competence that you are delivering. A maximum of 3 activities can be claimed.
